Annapurna Base CampAnnapurna Base camp Trek also known as Annapurna Sanctuary Trek is famous for its splendid Natural beauty and great bio-diversity. The entire trekking region is dominated by Annapurna Himalayan Range and the ethnic communities of Central Nepal.

Annapurna Base Camp trekking extends from Nayapool (1050m) to Annapurna Base camp (4130m), located at the foot of Annapurna south (7219m) and Hiunchuli(6336m). The trek combines moderate walking with majestic scenery and a mix of cultures unmatched with any other trekking region in Nepal. The Annapurna Base Camp  trek traverses a variety of terrain, from lowland villages and rice terraces to glaciers, and offers outstanding high mountain views, extra ordinary flora and fauna, Mid hill and Himalayan wildlife with a pinch of Unique culture and traditions.

During this trek, one can enjoy astonishing view of gigantic Himalayas including Annapurna I (8091m), Dhaulagiri (8176m), Annapurna II (7647m), Annapurna III (7555m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna south(7219m), Nilgiri(7061m), Fang(7647m), Macchapuchure or Fishtail(6999m), Hiunchuli(6336m) and many more snowcapped Peaks. After week of trekking across moraines and reaches Annapurna Sanctuary from where you will see undeniably beautiful and unimaginable 360 degree views of the Annapurna mountain ranges. Annapurna Sanctuary is a deep glacier-covered amphitheater surrounded by a ring of impressive high peaks, offering dazzling and unimaginable 360 degree views of the Annapurna mountain ranges.

Annapurna Base camp Trek is the journey of lifetime and you can achieve it during any time of year except on Monsoons and Mid Winters when there is a chance of avalanches. The best season for this trek is spring and autumns.

Annapurna Base Camp Trekking Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu airport (1345meters). You will be met by our representative and transfer to Hotel and a short brief about the trekking after refreshment overnight at three star level categories accommodation with B/B Plan.

Day 02: Full day tour around Kathmandu valley with English speaking guide including Baudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Symbhunath Temple, and necessary preparation for Trekking overnight at three star level categories accommodation with B/B Plan.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, 210 Kilometer west of Kathmandu valley that takes about six hours on tourist coach. You will drive along side of Trisuli and Mashyangdi River both flown from the foothills of Himalayas and are popular for Rafting, the view of Ganesh Himal and Mt. Manaslu will refresh you. Pokhara is tourist's paradise with full of natural with more than three lakes, couple of caves falls as well as cultural heritage sites. You can observe views to the north across the hills and Phewa Tal (Lake) to the white peaks of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.

Day 04: Pokhara to Tikhedhunga - About hour of drive from Pokhara(915m) to Nayapul(1050m) on private or tourist vehicle. Trek starts from Nayapul you will reach Tikhedhunga (1577M), final destination of the day Via Birethanti (1065m.) it takes about four hours. The first part of day trek is easy passing through several small villages and settlements. After some gentle ascend you can reach Tikhedhunga. The majority of people in this region are Gurung and they are Buddhist.

Day 05: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani at the altitude of (2874 m.) It takes around six hours. This includes steep ascend for first two hours and then ascending gently through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti. One can see beautiful view of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m.), and Annapurna south (7219m) on the way to Ghorepani. Final hours of today's trail are quite easier passing through rhododendron and shadowy trees and descends gently up to the final camp. Languor and different species of birds are common things to see.

Day 06: Ghorepani to Tadapani - Morning hike to the top of Poon Hill (3232m) for the best view of sunrise on Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhare (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snow capped mountains Descend back to Ghorepani and after having breakfast we will continue our five hour journey unto Tadapani (2650m).

Day 07: Tadapni to Chomrong - Trek from Tadapani (2675m.) to Chomrong(2170m) which takes five hours. The day trek is very easy by mostly descending gently all the way through Rhododendron, Oak and Sal's dense forests. Kimrung Khola area is reachly habited by different species of birds. Ascend steeply and walk at a level for 45 minutes and mostly flat trail with gentle descend.

Day 08: Chomrong to Doval - Five hours trek from Chomrong to Dovan at 2630m. The trail descends by a stone staircase for first one and half hour and crosses the Chomrong Khola via suspension bridge. High above the west bank of Modi Khola, the trail passes through the forests of Bamboo, Rhododendron and Oaks. Climbing further on a rocky trail you reach at Sinuwa, at 2350m. You trek gently through the forest and descend a long steep stone staircase till Dovan.

Day 09: Trek from Dovan to Annapurna Base camp (4170m.). It takes about five hours. You have to pass through muddy trail. There is debris of avalanches during winter season, the trail is steep ascent up to Hinko Cave (3160m.), this named as a huge overhanging rock provides some protection against rain and avalanches then you will reach MBC at lunch time after lunch trek continue to the valley widens to Annapurna base camp.

Day 10: ABC to Dovan – Early in the Moring Enjoy the view of Mount Hiunchuli (6441m.), Annapurna South (7229m.), Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna III (7555m.), Gangapurna (7454m.) and Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.). Have breakfast in ABC with panorama view of Himalaya and trek to Dovan (2630m.): It takes about five hours. It's much easier going down. You should have no problem reaching Sinuwa from Annapurna Base Camp in a single day however we have chosen this Dovan(2630m) as some of trekkers may have problem on going down.

Day 11: Trek from Dovan to Jhinudanda (1750m) which will take 6 hours. The path descends up to Bamboo passing through forests mostly inherited by Bamboos. After Bamboo, the trail goes steeply up for hour is quite flat until Sinuwa. Your treks gradually descend to the Chhumrong Khola and following stone staircase before last part of the trail steeply down to Jhinudanda. From the town you should walk down for 20 minutes to reach Hot Spring at the bank of the Modi Khola. You can relax at Hot Spring.

Day 12: From Jhinudanda to Pothana (1600m.) It is a five hour trek. The first part of the trek is descent and then appears flat land until Himal Pani. You will find beautiful waterfall here. The trail ascends gently crossing numerous streams and terraces. After short trek, you reach Landruk (1640m.), an appeling big village inhabited by mixed community of Gurung, Magar, Cheetri and Brahmin as well. Now the trail gently ascends to Tolka (1850m.), then goes steeply up to Deurali (2100m.) with a view of different mountain peaks and again trail gradually descends to Pothana passing through different forests. Pothana is a small town resided by Gurung, you can enjoy the wonderful views of various mountains from here.

Day 13: Pothana to Pokahra - Trek from Pothana to Dhampus Phedi. It takes about three hours to reach Phedi. The Trekking trail is gentle descend up to Dhampus, a village mostly inherited by Gurung communities. Then trek through the flat land for several moments and steep downhill unless reaching Phedi. Trekking ends at Dhampus Phedi and drive back to Pokhara by Vehicle overnight at three star level categories accommodation with B/B Plan.

Day 14: fly back Pokhara to Kathmandu about 3:15 pm after noon time pick up from Kathmandu airport and transfer to Hotel overnight at three star level categories accommodation with B/B Plan.

Day 15: Drive to Kathmandu air port and departure to country.

Cost for the Trip US$ 850 per person. (Cost base on minimum two pax)
